Lily is to be a BIG SISTER
Well we are all pleased to announce that Baby Juffs number 2 is on the way!
We went for our first scan today and baby has a healthy heart beat and is due 7th May 2010! Putting us at 10 weeks and 5 days today.
We have known for about 6 weeks but have held back until after the scan to share our news with family and friends!

Update
Lily is now 7 weeks old and changing every day. She is now smiling which amazes me every time, she has also laughed and she will talk to you too- not in any kind of language we understand but her gurgles and coos are very cute!
She has out grown all of her newborn clothes and now slipping into all her 0-3months clothes nicely not surprising really when she is now over 10lb! Her long legs continue to grow too. She can hold her head up for about 30 seconds unaided and likes to push herself up further and further on whoever is holding her.
Lily and Mummy have been out and about too. Last week we went to Baby Massage and a Mummy and Baby group so we have met lots of new friends which is great for us both; Lily was the tiniest baby at both groups though I am sure she won't be for long!
Sleep is now getting very good for us both with Lily sleeping for about 6 hours straight so the bags under Mummy's eyes are slowly disappearing- hurray!

Lily is here!
Lily has finally arrived! The long 9 months (and 1 day) wait is over!
At 2:32am today (2008-07-07), Lily arrived in Lincoln County Hospital. She weighs 7 pounds 2 ounces and has lots of dark hair already!
Anneka's labour went well, with only gas and air, along with an injection as pain relief. Once giving birth to Lily, Anneka had to going into theatre to complete the birth process - leaving me to hold Lily for over an hour!
We'll be writing much more in the coming weeks about Lily, but I'll leave you with this picture taken shortly after weighing her:

4D Scan
Today we went for a 4D ultra-sound scan, at Baby Debut in Taplow. The whole experience lasted 90 minutes and we were able to bring 8 guests too!
We've walked away with 7 6x4" pictures, an A5 and an A4 picture. We've also got a DVD of Lily spending most of the time hidden away behind her feet! The following pictures give us a much better idea of how Lily will look and we highly recommend a 4D scan to any expectant parents:

Second Scan
Today we went for Baby's second ultra-sound scan, at Lincoln County Hospital. Unfortunately Baby wouldn't roll over for the pictures, so we've got to return next week to complete all of the checks. I'll leave you with two pictures of Baby looking a lot bigger than before!
