4D Scan
Today we went for a 4D ultra-sound scan, at Baby Debut in Taplow. The whole experience lasted 90 minutes and we were able to bring 8 guests too!
We've walked away with 7 6x4" pictures, an A5 and an A4 picture. We've also got a DVD of Lily spending most of the time hidden away behind her feet! The following pictures give us a much better idea of how Lily will look and we highly recommend a 4D scan to any expectant parents:

Things that go Bump in the night!
I knew that once she got bigger I would really start to feel Lily kicking but I never thought it would be as much as it has been! Over the weeks the kicks have starting to get more frequent and more prominent and she has definately learnt how to keep Mummy awake already! With Matt snoring away next to me and Lily kicking me well in to the small hours it really is a wonder I get any sleep at all. Lily seems to be asleep mostly during the day and suddenly as soon as I get into bed awake we are! She has also become my personal alarm clock giving me a good kick when I should be eating breakfast and if when I am at work she reminds me it is nearly lunch time! Once I've eaten, I hear or should I say feel no more from her until bed time...or in her case play time. Matt has only felt her kick once so far but Auntie Emily did say she saw my tummy move when she was giving me a good kick the other week when we went for the 3rd scan.
All is well though and that is the main thing...

It's a Girl!
We had orginally decided to wait until the big moment to find out whether our baby would be a boy or girl but after having had to go for a 3rd scan last Thursday we were given the opportunity to know! So it looks like baby will be a little girl!!! We are both equally excited and even though we were told that it is not 100% guaranteed we can now stop calling her it and start using her name Lily...
